What Is HYROX?

HYROX is an indoor fitness race designed for everyday athletes.

Each race follows the same global format:

  • 8 x 1km runs

  • Each run is paired with a functional workout station

 

Movements include sled pushes and pulls, rowing, wall balls, lunges, carries, burpees, and more — all tests of strength, endurance, and mental toughness.

HYROX is:

  • Standardized — the same race format worldwide

  • Accessible — multiple divisions for different fitness levels

HYROX Training at Afforest Fitness

Afforest offers HYROX-specific training classes designed to prepare athletes for both official HYROX races and our in-house HYROX events.

  • Pacing, breathing, and efficiency under fatigue

What to Expect in a HYROX Class

Each class is coach-led and structured with purpose. You can expect:
